Brake Part prices

Anyone out there know what price I would be looking at for a total brake rebuild on a Marina. That would include master cylinder, calipers, rear wheel cylinders and pads/shoes? Jim is going to hate that I haven't made a decision on his Marina yet...but I keep waffling. Someone help me un-waffle!

Chris: I'm out of the office until at least Sunday. I'll get you a quote on everything you might need. Are your rotors and drums suitable for use, i.e. do they need turning, and if so, can they be turned and stay in spec? Is your master cylinder rebuildable or should it be replaced? I'll try to include possible costs of everything. Skip

I'm not sure...Jim from PA (on this board) still owns the car...but I've been pondering buying it for months now, and I'm trying to get a budget of what it will need. Its been sitting for...10 years or so in his garage, so I'm suspecting a whole new set of brakes, but I suspect that the rotors and drums are probably ok, since they haven't been seeing a lot of use. Let me know the prices on what you think I might need to bring it back up to snuff.

The rotors may be okay so list them separately. Definitely needs new shoes. The rest is easier to find. It would be a good idea to freshen up all of the cylinders. The calipers probably just seals. The rear cylinders probably should be replaced but rebuild kits might be okay since the system has not been opened all these years. I'd say give Chris all of the prices so he can decide what kind of cost he is up against.
She's still nice and dry but she is starting to get depressed thinking that you might not want her.
