Have a 73 single carb gt. SU 8092???
have to keep it choked a lil to keep it running. Went to town and it died on me several times. Had to choke it to get it to run. then had to take the choke off because it was flooding. it cant make up its mind. It was running just fine before the winter have been really busy this winter and didnt get around to start it and run it for at least 3 months. Had a problem with the points not getting fire have fixed that but the carb is a problem. I know most of you have had this problem PLEASE help!!!!!!
Was going to town and get it inspected but almost didnt make it back. Park lights not working nor the horn. I had replaced the high low switch and now the horn and park lights arent working, havent looked to close on the as of yet. I did notice that when replacing the switch that a black wire was spliced into the purple wire in the switch ( i assume that is the horn wire ) will check it at a later date.
Thanks
Terry
